TWF offers a broad array of catering and special event products. We are thrilled to offer both easy business lunches or larger scale, more customized events. Our restaurant is also perfect for private parties of up to 40 people. 

What standard catering options are offered?

• The Shawarma Bar - this is great for events with 10 or more people. We provide you with the basic building blocks of our most popular menu items, and you and your guests can “build your own” meals. This is great because it allows each of your guests to sample a wider variety of options, and it’s great for parties or events with allergies and dietary restrictions. 
• The classics - this is our regular menu, offered for special orders any time of day or night and anywhere in Chittenden County. We recommend this primarily as an option for smaller functions, fewer than 10 people.

What do you provide with standard catering?

• Free delivery within the Burlington Area (anywhere within 5 miles of the Old North End) 
  • Delivery is available for a surcharge for orders outside this 5-mile radius.
• Free disposables (paper plates, cutlery, napkins and cups)
  • For an additional charge, we offer a full array of plateware, silverware, and glassware as well as all the equipment you may need for a buffet setup, including steam tables and serviceware. 

Can we have our event staffed?

• Staffing is always an option, whether you simply need someone to maintain the buffet and pack everything up at the end of your event or whether you want full table service; just let us know what you need, and we’ll provide you with a quote!

Do you do custom quotes and special events?

• You bet! If the above options don’t work for you, please reach out, and we’d be happy to discuss your event with you and provide an estimate. 

Can we buy out the restaurant?

• Absolutely! Our restaurant can host up to 40 people (we can seat about 25), and we offer both full buyouts (your restaurant for the entire evening!) and partial buyouts (we will close the restaurant for 3 hours for your event). 
  • Buyouts require a food and beverage minimum (a room rental fee will be assessed for buyouts that do not meet the minimum) that is determined based on the day and the length of the event. 

Tipping Policy for Catering and Special Events

• For smaller orders (less than $400), we encourage you to tip, but of course do not expect it. For all larger orders, as well as last-minute orders (72 hours or less), we will add a 20% gratuity to your final bill. This policy applies to orders regardless of whether they’re being picked up or delivered. The reason for this is simple - our entire team (kitchen staff included) makes roughly half of their total salary from tips that we collect from our guests. Larger and last-minute orders require additional staffing to execute properly, and we want to ensure that this extra staff is still adequately compensated for their labor. Please note that 100% of any gratuity will always be given to staff. If you have questions or concerns about our tip policy, please let us know; we’d be more than happy to discuss the policy with you in more detail!

Catering for Peak Service Times

• Our catering staff and our restaurant staff are the same group of people (in other words, we do not have a separate catering team!). During very busy periods (Fridays, Saturdays, and Holidays between 5 PM and 7:30 PM), we unfortunately do not have the capacity to accommodate any catering requests. Please still reach out if you are trying to schedule a catered event during these periods; we may be able to provide food for you that can be reheated on-site.
